Bosch Car Part May Cause Engine Failure In Certain Vehicles

Bosch and several other vehicle manufactures allegedly conspired to deceive consumers. Bosch, and others, promised continued reliability of their diesel engines, but with increased fuel efficiency and power. However, consumers allege to experience something different. Claims have been made asserting that Bosch CP4 pump deposits metal shavings and debris throughout the fuel injection system and engine, ultimately resulting in engine failure. Bosch’s CP4 pump may not be compatible with American fuel standards, because the CP4 pump cannot withstand the amount of lubricant and water content in U.S. diesel fuel.

The Following Vehicles May Have Been Affected:

·         2011 – 2017 GM Chevy Silverado 2500 HD

·         2011 – 2016 GM GMC Sierra 2500 HD

·         2015 GM GMC Sierra 3500 HD
