Wells Fargo announced that a computer glitch caused it to incorrectly deny approximately 870 loan modification requests over an eight year period, resulting in hundreds of foreclosures. Customers who were denied loan modifications or were not offered a modification in cases where they would have otherwise qualified may have legal claims.
