We are investigating allegations that TD Bank employees allegedly opened customer accounts without consent. In early March 2016, Canadian news source CBC released an article containing alleged employee testimonies, admitting to breaking the law by increasing credit limits or opening unnecessary accounts for consumers without their consent, just to meet their sales goals. The TD employees claim to feel pressured to meet high sales revenue goals which have created an environment they say is “poisoned,” “stress inducing,” “insane” and has “zero focus on ethics.”
