Major Pork producers may have an agreement to keep prices steady, avoiding competition in the market.
A class action complaint has been filed on behalf of direct purchasers of pork. The complaint alleges that the pork integrator defendants entered into a conspiracy from 2009 to the present to fix, raise, maintain, and stabilize the price of pork. The complaint alleges that the pork producers exchanged detailed competitively sensitive and closely guarded non public information in regards to pricing, capacity, sales volume and demand through their co – conspirator “Agri Stats.”

- Hormel Foods Corporation
- Indiana Packers Corporation
- JBS USA
- Seaboard Foods, LLC
- Smithfield Foods, Inc.
- Triumph Foods, LLC
- Tyson Foods, Inc.
