BASF, Bayer, DowDuPont and others may have colluded to raise prices of certain chemical drugs.
A class action has been filed on behalf of direct purcasers of Isocyanates. The complaint alleges a long-standing conspiracy among BASF, Bayer, DowDuPont, and others to fix the price of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (“MDI”) and toluene diisocyanate (“TDI”), collectively referred to as “Isocyanates.” The alleged price-fixing conspiracy began as early as 2015, continuing until February 2018, and included limiting supply through planned manufacturing plant shutdowns.
Direct Purchasers of Isocyantes who may have been injured by paying higher prices included the following types of manufacturing industries:
- carpet cushions
- truck bed lining
