Honda may be marketing safety features which allegedly put drivers at risk.
Honda offers enhanced safety features through it’s “Honda Sensing” package, which includes a Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS.). These safety features are designed to avoid accidents or greatly minimize the effects of a collision. However, consumers allege that, despite paying a premium for the package, it fails to work properly. The system allegedly malfunctions, causing speed fluctuations without warning and unexpected breaking. The defect appears in Honda CR-V models, including the EX, EX-L and the Touring.
