Apple Inc. may be marketing and selling a “high efficiency’ laptop with a defective keyboard.
A class action complaint has been filed against Apple, alleging that the “butterfly” keyboard in model year 2015 or later MacBook laptops and model year 2016 or later MacBook Pro laptops are prone to fail. Allegedly, the keys become unresponsive or register multiple keystrokes resulting in the user not being able to type.
