Inogen, Inc Oxygen Device May Be Have Exposed 30,000 Customers

Inogen, Inc. may have exposed 30,000 customer medical information.

April 13, 2018 Inogen, Inc. – a company that manufactures portable oxygen devices – announced a data breach issue, potentially exposing approximately 30,000 customer’s personal information, including Medicare identification numbers, insurance policy information, and the type of medical equipment provided to the customer. Inogen annouced that they hired a forensics firm to investigate the incident and determined that an unauthorized individual may have gained access to personal information of some Inogen rental customers.
