Kroger Aloe Vera After Sun Gel May Be Falsely Advertised

A class action complaint has been filed against Kroger alleging that its store brand “Aloe Vera After Sun Gel” is falsely labeled, because it does not contain aloe vera.  The product label identifies “Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice” among the ingredients.  However, laboratory tests revealed that the product was devoid of acemannan, a key chemical component found in aloe vera.
