Target allegedly sold a customer fake leather yet advertised it as “genuine leather.”
Target Corporation and Target Stores Inc. are facing a class action lawsuit, which accuses them of misrepresenting some of its furniture as “genuine” leather when it may be imitation leather. The lawsuit specifically identifies the leather ottoman sold as part of Target’s “Global Bazaar” collection, which retailed for as much as $400. The “Global Bazaar” collection was sold in Target from 2006 through 2008.
