Jeep Wrangler may have defective radiator. Class action suit alleges that Fiat Chrysler fails to properly clean and install a cylinder which causes defects in the radiator.
Class action lawsuits have been filed against Fiat Chrysler alleging that 2012 through 2017 model Jeep Wranglers radiators are defective. The suits claim that Fiat Chrysler fails to thoroughly purify the sand from the cylinder head during the production process. Fiat uses two different methods, sand-casting and die-casting, to manufacture components of Jeep Wrangler’s Pentastar engines. The two components combined allegedly cause sand to build-up in the radiator, leading to malfunction or failure. Many consumers have publicly published complaints regarding said issue.
