Ford Explorer SUVs May Be Leaking Exhaust Fumes

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that they have expanded their investigation into complaints of exhaust fumes inside Ford Explorer SUVs, now covering over 1.3 million models from 2011 through 2017. The agency made the decision after analyzing more than 2,700 complaints of exhaust odors found in the passenger compartment. Many complaints were found to come from Police Departments, including two crashes with injuries and another injury from carbon monoxide exposure.
